Cosmic Cross Yeshua

Cosmic cross Yeshua by Stevon Lucero Poem

The Story of He Who Is
One day a man appeared
And he said...
...I Am...
What?..He was asked.
I Am.
...He replied.
Who?
      I Am.
Some chuckled as they turned away.
Some sneered as they left.

Some just shook their heads in pity.
But a few smiled and said...
...Yes
And they were.
...I Am!
...They cried,
And they were.

A confused young man asked...
Why? (Why?)
I am... came the reply
He smiled, and was.
Others smiled also
and came back to be.

A frightened young woman asked
How? How?
I Am..now.
She smiled and was.
Many turned to hear..
Hear to see...
I Am.
And they were.

An Old one wheezed...
Where? Where?
I Am...here.
And the old one cried and was.

A multitude turned to sing
I am.
And they were.

The Song carried its being
     Throughout the world...
         Making its weight light.
It soon reached the ears
Of a sleeping man...who
Dreamed he was awake.
He too sang...
      I Am.
But in sleeping Was Not.

Passing He who is...
Stopped and said...
Wake.
The sleeper answered,
     I Am.
But...You...Are not.

No!... You are wrong
     I Am!
     I Am!
It is you...who is not!
Still sleeping, he struck down...
     He who is,
To spill the blood of being...
     into the earth
Upon waking-and seeing his crime
He cried out...
"But I thought it was a Dream!"

And the multitude answered...
      "It Was"
As they turned to find a place
     To die...for...they...
           were not.

Epilogue: It is said that someday
He who walks will walk again...
And it is rumored that those
who believe this...
have never
died.
