Pilgram Stevon Lucero Metarealism poem Intellectual Doubletalk

Intellectual Doubletalk
Ignoring the self righteous fools
whose intellectual doubletalk
sound much like my own, as it
Blots out the images of truth
That silence nurtures patiently
Into blooming reality.
Sounds. clean and pure
Interwoven into beautiful
Tapestries.
Only to be intellectualized
Into meaningless meanings
Pressed colorfully to fool
The fool.
To lead him like a fatted cow
To the slaughterhouse
Of false realities.
That make themselves all too real
With pain.
With blood.
Blood of the foolish
Led by fools.
They. ignore. the sounds
Of truths and realities
That can be given substance
To little men,
Whose little minds
Have become diseased.
Slowly rotting away.
These fine brains
With all their fine rhetoric
Drown the sounds.
That could save them
From their own
self destruction!
